In Le Havre, France, architect firm Cattani Architects converted shipping containers into student housing. The project consists of 100 separate shipping containers over four floors each a small studio apartment in itself. The shipping containers are held in a metal frame that creates new spaces for walkways, patios and balconies. The appartments might seem a little small but each studio has a bathroom, kitchen and free Wifi. Looking back at our living conditions during our student years this seems more than adequate.
